Ported Cobra Intake

Thought I’d share some pics of my cobra intake before it is time to put it on the new engine.

Here is the upper lid

Both tubes inside upper lid were removed and inner lid surface was smoothed

Anyone else Port their intake?

left my mach intake stock.
didn't want to take a hit on the bottom end with a heavy street car.
and the porting is nice but the short runner is what makes the hp.

Chris - I know about The short runner intakes too. NaSVT does them over on SVT performance. I wanted to do a short runner myself but without ever doing one before I decided against it. I know most of the gains from porting come from the shortened runners, I didn’t know if anyone else has ported their upper lid like I did though. I imagine it’s probably worth at least a couple HP over stock though
