I just got a poping noise coming from im pretty sure the front suspension. I just pops once not a bunch of times at once. I can feel it through the pedal. I just got under it and checked all my ball joints and tie rod ends, control arm bushings. Dont see any play. It happens if im driving down a road and kinda swerve left and right it happens when I turn left. I say these bolts that look loose but there not. Wondering if there suppose to be like this. Any suggetions. I just rotated my tires and changed my sway bar end links last weekend. My motor mounts are leaking too. Im thinking it might be that too.

DON'T TIGHTEN THOSE !!!!!!!!!!!

Those are locater bolts and they are supposed to be like that. I had a clunk coming from front of my car that I couldn't diagnose, and I tried tightening these locater bolts up and sheered the nut right off of the driver side one. Had to pay a good chunk of change to have it removed and replaced.

I came to find that my clunking is from blown out shocks and springs. I'll be installing Eibach pros and new shocks this spring.

Good luck, but don't tighten those bolts.

Yeah I didnt tighten them and I remember someone saying something about them in a recent post I just couldnt find it. I figured out my problem. My end link is junk I just installed on the driver side. If I jack the front left wheel off the ground then lower it I can see it pop. I just greased it and it actually made it worse.

its kinda embarrassing to admit..but I don't know how to post a new a new subject...so I will ask here and I am sure that someone will tell me where to drop my question on my next visit...lol. Occasionally, when I start my 00 up...I hear a loud whoosh and a high pitched whistle..the idle is very rough when this happens. I opened the hood and the little vacuum box that is near the coolant reservoir has two lines coming out of it..the one on the right side seems to blow itself off when the car is started. If I put it back on..it sucks in place and stays and the car returns to normal idle and operation...what is this air line and why will it not stay in place...your seasoned advice is appreciated.

At the bottom of the page showing all the LS threads, there is a button "+Post New Thread." Use that to start a thread of your own.

Could you post a picture of the "little vacuum box," because I'm not sure what you are talking about. Maybe the EVAP purge valve, or maybe the brake booster?

I will when the snow stops..but I am sure that you are correct in stating that it is the purge valve..even though I don't know what that is exactly..the startup is enough to blow this hose off occasionally...it might just be that the connector on the end of the hose is worn..but because of the rough idle when it comes off..I know that it needs to always stay connected.

If it's the purge valve, the connector on the hose or the valve is broken. There's no way it can just pop off.
