If you read the thread i posted before about my alarm. Last night i had some punk get into my car tossin things around and snagged a good ten dollars in change. I could never lock my car at all as soon as it starts getting dark. I was searching for a way to figure it out but now i just want to disconnect the damn thing. How do i do it? Please anything is much appriciated.

You could remove the alarm module. Its located behind the glove box, under the blower motor.

You can do like Moes8 said and push the lock buttons down manually. If you use the remotes or the power lock switches it will arm the alarm. I had the same problem on my 96 Mark. I took it to my car audio installer and had him disable it. Here is a link to a page that might help you.

I don't know the year of your car or I could help more, but scroll down until you find your year and model, click on the alarm link to the right. Now scroll until you see Factory Disarm, find and tap into the wire with a short piece of wire, crimp a ring terminal to the other end of your wire and connect it to a ground source. Usually there is a ground under the drivers kick panel that you can use.

Example: On a 95/96 Mark, tap the Dark Green/Purple wire (Dark green wire with a purple stripe)

They did mine behind the drivers kick panel, it's just as easy to access, if not easier, than having to pull the glove box to get to the Anti-theft module.

Hope this helps!

I have a 94 by the way. Now when i disconnect the alarm my key fob will no longer work?

im not totally sure on this.. but i think the keyfob works off of the module in the trunk.. so disconnecting the alarm module behind the glovebox should only disconnect the alarm itself and not the keyfob or door keyless entry..

i may be wrong.. if anyone can agree or correct me on this

Just put one of these in the passenger seat

I too think you are right. And for 97/98 that module for keyfob was moved into the driver's side door.

You can try it. If its a no-go, just plug it back in.

You are right. I removed my 93's alarm module 2 months ago due to it going off for no reason. The key fob, keyless entry and panic function work as normal.

Just keep this guy hanging around your car, no one will go near it!

I'm gonna have to recomend that you be put under suspicion and this thread to be immediately destroyed.
