Did you every have your battery tested? Or did you just keep changing the alternator?

What brand alternator are you replacing it with? It's usually better to go OEM or atleast a rebuild to avoid issues like this. Hinzy is right, check your battery. The other "bad" alternators could've damaged it.

In case you need another vote...

1. It's your alternator if you are using aftermarket. You going to have to get a Motorcraft one. (If you are using Motorcraft, then your wiring between the PCM and the alternator needs to be checked.)

2. Your battery may now be damaged by all this. Low battery is why the lights flashed and it wouldn't start. Be sure to get the correct battery from the dealer. The one with the vent tube connection.

3. For the misfire, you probably need to replace all your COPs (ignition coils) and spark plugs. Again, it's best to use the Motorcraft parts.

+1 Joegr

My 01 did this, friggin reman alternator! lasted 6 months. Got a new advance auto parts alternator, going strong 2 years. check battery age. watch for blow fuses in trunk and fuel pump failure.

Thanks everybody for your help!!! I just change the alternator i went to check the battery and alternator and they pass the test so those are ok. I just change the coil #8 and still have the same problem a mechanic told me to take my car to a electrical mechanic cause he put the computer on it and it said that have some grounding problems, im getting frustrated with this and expending too much money, what you guys recomend me to do? Take it to the electrical? Or to the dealer?

The one i put is a rebuild one

And another thing when i start the car after a few minutes he start shaking and lights start doing like comes and goin

I still vote for the following, without replacing ALL coils and ALL plugs... you can not confirm anything else

If they didn't load test the battery but only checked the stored voltage they didn't really check the condition of the battery. I suspect the battery.
