Plastic Fasteners

Seems like these cars are held together with those push in plastic fasteners. Through years of disassembly and reassembly I have broken a few. Does anyone know if you can get these from Ford? I need the ones that hold the engine cover on and the ones that hold the plastic on the rocker panel. Does anyone have a part number or the official name so I can look up the part number?

They don't show Lincoln, so maybe you can find em under Ford.

I have found them in the fastener section (ofter near spray/ touch-up paint) at most the chain auto parts stores. They are not oem but say "fit Ford" and work fine in my experience

Don't buy from the dealer. They are VERY proud of that sort of little widget.

The dealer charges something like ten bucks for the engine cowl fasteners. I used 1/4 inch vinyl rivets from the specialty fastener bin at Lowe's at $1.79 for four. I posted a pic last summer.

You can also use the GM flat head style too. Disco 5710 fits perfect.

lowes fastener area, 1 inch I think, a couple for a buck, they have a push pin type that works fine with a little modification.
