Well I ordered these wheels and mounted tires and waited for weather to break. Put Right side on and bam wont even move as it touches caliper. Pretty upset as I spent alot of money on them and of course you cant send back now... they are 19x8.5 with offset of 38 I thought id be good.

Heres link to wheels so make sure you dont buy them..

How much does it touch? You could but brake spacers (you can buy them at any parts shop) that your suppose to but behind the rotor to get the correct specs :blah:.. But I'm sure they will work here and they're cheap (put them on the rotor face).. I would try a 3mm spacer before you give up hope..

And remember it's better to be pissed off than pissed on!

you think 389 for a set of 4 rims is alot.....:eyeroll:

He even has a disclaimer that some vehicles may need a spacer or modification for the wheels to fit! Including Jaguar. Hopefully spacers work out for you.

*mental note: at least 40 offset on wheels.

How close is it? If it's super close, just grind a little off the caliper.

by time i bought tires it was high cause they were much more.. after several hours i did grind calipers enough to clear but the fact is they advertise direct bolt on.. thats my point thanks for the input they are on finally

and when i work hard to pay for my stuff yes it is alot to me. i realize rims cost alot more trust me but its what i could afford and they look real good for the price. thanks for the input

You just need spacers bro. I had the same sinking feeling and sense of dread for a whole 30 seconds while the guy at the wheel shop ran in and grabbed some and slapped them on and solved the problem.

38mm is the lowest off set that anybody has gotten to fit with out any problems, but depending on how the spokes are shaped, i could see how some could fit and some might now.

personally, i would go with spacers over grinding the caliper, too much grinding will of course weaken the brake, but even if it did fit well, its going to be hard to make it look good especially if the wheel is more open than whats already on it, and the wheels will be drawing a lot more attention to that area.

I smoothed the calipers nicely and painted gloss black.. I have only the right side done and it rained today.. Im heading to a show this weekend will try to get some pics up then.

Heres a few pics this is before going back and painting calipers. Ill have better pics this weekend.. Im very happy with the wheel for the price just wish it would have fit w/o modifications..
