Pictures please: 03-06 Fog light assembly on a 00-02

Does anyone out there have the 03-06 fog light assembly on there 00-02 LS? I’m considering putting them on my 02 but I just want to see how they look in case I don’t like the finished project.

They look nice. The only issues are the mounting points and housing shape are different. I had them for a while but didn't like the way they sat way back in the bumper. I may try and make them fit again......

i have modified them and not yet installed them on my car
 
This is something I have been wanting to do but I'm not sure if I want to yet or not. I kind of sooner or later want a LSE/06 front end but that is so far down the road now I am still thinking it might be worth this install.


It does look good and if you do a search you'll find pics I'm sure of that but I never noticed that they sat further back. Thats something I'll have to look at myself now.

why? made any recent purchases that would consume space behind your bumper?

Oh I understand now sorry NHLS. What I meant was I just had to look at it myself so I could see how far back they sit. I see it in your pic you just posted and I don't think it looks bad. Im not worried about space but I honestly did not notice they sat further back. It kind of adds some nice depth IMO.

yeah I'm trying to find out who bought ILLS' turbo....thought maybe you were worried about fitting the FMIC. :cool:
 
LOL@me:... I wont ever be able to dump that kind of sum into my car at once for a long time and if I do its going to be multiple things that add up.


I would love to but I honestly don't see my LS being on the performance side of things.


I think I have a few suspects but I'm not tossing things around.
 
i talked to him about it..... sticking with the plan for my turbo set up. Then like a few hours leter he posted it as sold! WTF? Any way, yeah I like the newer fogs.... not so huge and boxy. I painted the dark surround to match my car. When I get them in, I'll post pics

I thought about something like that but I feel the circle in the center is to small and it would throw the look off for lighter colored cars,... IMO.


Its a nice mod with a very reasonable price tag!
 
10-15 bucks I think it cost me.... and I have a black car so I'm still not sold on it, but I can sand off the paint so no biggy
 
I was talking about the price for the lights,... whooops.
 
Oh, ok. Still not a bad deal at regular price,... unless your into those sh*ty pilots from autozone. :yuck:
 
I have a set of these that I bought from one of the members on here about two months ago. He also sold me a pair of clear side markers too. I just haven't had the time to put them on along with the brand new headlight that I bought off of ebay for 35 bucks and it's still sitting in my dining room. I need to get a dremel because one of the brackets that the lights attach too needs to be cut down in order to make them fit.

Yea but good thing I kept mines.

I bought some of those 03 foglights to put on few years ago, but they dont fit good, so I just got new 00-02 instead. Even if you make em fit, if you look closer they don't sit clean.
