I'm looking to put a hitch on my car for a light trailer to get some stuff done around the house. '04 LS.

I'd like to see pics of installed hitches. I've tried to search and haven't seen any. I'd like a hidden hitch that disappears when the ball mount is removed.

Thanks,

Rich

Like this? Here's the link for the original thread. I pulled a couple pics out of the thread to post here:

Yeah!!! But let's change the ball to a spike!

Beter yet, make it a chrome fist with a big middle finger out the top. Then put the spike on top of that :D

Speaking of spikes, I was thinking of putting some kind of spike caps or something on the screws for the front plate. People around here don't stop until they hit something. Which my cracked plate holder proves

I live in Paducah as well and those are pics of my custom trailer hitch on my LS. I can meet you somewhere so you can see how mine is made and it may give you some ideas:)

Small world! Hell yes I'd like to see it. I'll even buy the 1st round. LOL

I bought my car with a hiddin hitch..01 LS...I hate the thing..going to remove it in a week or two.....

With that home made hitch when is the last time you looked at the welds? Any stress cracks on there? That looked like a pretty thin plate and as stated earlier all the weight is on the pins. I wouldn't tow much more than that jet ski with it. And definately wouldn't wanna be behind you on a nice incline. Nice stealth work though.
