PICS Of the new paint!!!

I think it looks great.:headbang: I had been yammering on Geno for 6 months to do a photoshop of a two-tone for me so I could see what it looks like.

The sides of my DD have a few too many dings for my preference (4 kids and a wife that drives it to work occasionally) and I wanted to redo the sides to make them straight again.

Now if I do it I'll be called a copy-cat. I guess imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Now to import your pictures and play with the colors myself.;)

I had a few dings as well. I went to Dr. Dent and they removed 7 spots for $150.00. I swear by those guys. As far as doing the 2 tone, go for it. The thing that amazes me is that so many seam to be set on not liking the 2 tone paint that they don't keep an open mind when they look at it. I love the solid paint job, but come, I just don't understand how someone could just flat out dislike the 2 tone. I'm not necessarily saying I think it looks better than a 1 color job, but on the other hand I think it looks great. Just my opinion.

Did you do the work while inside the car and tape off the interior, or remove all the trim pieces to do it?

I also want to point out that I got the idea (for the interior) after seeing Genos ride. Give credit were credit is do. Thanks Geno!:headbang:

Looks awesome, turned out really great... i'm sure it turns heads everywhere you go.

I really like it. The two tone looks pretty good to me. The Mark seems like a kinda tough car to pull it off on, but I like it. I like the interior too. Some day I would like to paint my interior pieces like yours. Not necessarily the same color, but I like the idea. I agree it looks similar to Geno's car on the interior.

Hey, this is the guy with the blue mark. Just saw your car 10 minutes ago, and talked to ya. Pics don't give it justice, it looks awesome man.

i like it, maybe you could of followed the curve over the rear window across the trunk (or maybe you did and i just cant tell from the pics) but its still looks good

Yea, it was good to meet you. It's always good to see younger guys appreciating these cars. That Blue on Blue you got also looks great. I have met a few KC people on these boards lately. We should try to all hook up one of these nights at a sonic or something.

Take it easy,

Greg

I might be out of place saying this so don't take it the wrong way but when I first looked at it, it looked like a backwards landau top. I LOVE the bottom half color but the top sort of tricks you at first. That interior is beautiful though so I see where you got the colors to work with from. I'd get some brighter chrome tips to accent the wheels. That is a hell of car. I admire your effort. (Removing lips from buttcheek)

Thanks, I think.:) I went ahead and painted the dash the color we choose for the outside lower half. I'm not sure what you mean by, chrome tips for the wheels. Can you elaborate? Thanks for your input.
