Here are a couple pics from the engine swap. We still have a little work to do on the weekend before we fire it up. This new engine has manly h beams, probe .020 over pistons, stage 1 cams, cobra high volume oil pump, and these beautiful kooks headers. Enjoy, that rag joint is a bitch!

Is that a 5spd mark viii i see? Are you the first guy that did it...or was that another member? What kind of trans you running..stock t45, tremec? Problems that arose?? more pics of the setup? Interested. Lookin great dude. :cool:

Yes thats a 5 speed. http://webpages.charter.net/donlino/lincoln3.wmv This video is from 6 months ago when we finished it. Around christmas time it spun a rod bearing so the new motor is going in. And whats this about a rag joint. is there a problem with kooks headers?

Well im pretty upset by the whole game, as would you if you lost to the colts(obviously the nfl wanted the colts to win that game). But to speak for the seattle community i dont think anyone is mad at the steelers or try and discredit them its just that everyone expected the superbowl to be called differently. I dont know if seattle would have won that game but it definately should have been a much better game. Anyway im not disappointed in the season at all, i expected them to be a good team(as in finally get a playoff win but not get to the superbowl) heading into the 05 season and then make a run for the superbowl in 06. So maybe just maybe next year. BTW congrats on the sb win.

Anyhow hate to talk about football in here as it is a lincoln forum. Thanks for the link for the headers maybe ill spend some of my income tax return on them.
 
I agree some of the calls were iffy, but not all of them. Most of the time they were getting away with those penalties on both sides......just the hawks (givin you your respect....normally I call the the Seachikens.....) got caught. I do not think it would have been any different, just a higher score on both ends if the calls were different....IMHO.

Kool...I wish I could have spent my tax money on upgrades....I have to use it to get it back on the road.....:(
 
I can use the upgrade as an excuse of getting it to pass inspection :) . It has a real bad exaust leak but i dont know where exactly its coming from.
 
Excuses....excuses....lol. Hope you have a good shop put them in...hate to see someone waste the money on crappy work....good luck! :D
