Finally got around to taking pics of the bumper. Its been on for a week and I love it more every day. :D

Its dark, the car is dirty, but don't pay any attention to that.

:D :D
Now for that gap everyone complains about...

Not bad, eh?
2 pennies stacked will fall through, I had to push the bumper down some to fit 3.

And I have devised a way to cover that up with some rubber stick on weather seal. I haven't had the time to go look for it yet though.
The paint looks great. It's not a perfect match, the guy I had paint it really underestimated the amount of flake that he needed to put in so under certain light conditions you can kinda see a little difference. But most of the time it's not noticeable. And I'll have to get my upper grille painted the same color black as the lower griller. It looks kinda dull compared to the fresh paint on the bottom.
I did devise a license plate bracket that I have yet to put on, that allows me to mount the front plate (state law says I have to have it) without putting holes in the bumper. :D

I was thinking of doing a writeup on the swap since I haven't seen one here, and what I did to cut down on the gap. If anyone has any interest in something like that let me know.

Looks nice, I think the chrome on the grill could go, like get an lse or something. Looks alittle off but is not that bad, congrats!

every time i see this bumper i like it more every time. how much was the bumper and paint?

I don't like the LSE grille that much. Well, I like it, but it wouldn't match with the all black lower grille. Im gonna get a stock grille for an 03-05 with the chrome all the way around.

The bumper only cost me $280. Paintwork was $150. All totaled I spent a little under $700 for the whole project. :D

Looks good. The gap between the headlights and bumper on your car isn't as much as the picture on my website. So, really that is almost no gap.

does anybody have that bumper for sale? another question was it hard to throw that bumper on? did u have to change anything? why did u spend altogether 700 if u said 280 for the bumper and 150 to paint?

p.s. bumper looks sick nice

Why does it wind up with that gap??? Lincoln screw up, or headlights are diff for a LSE????

Except for 03-06 headlights you also need the headlight mount bracket to eliminate the gap. There is a difference in the brackets and headlight mount points in the newer LSs.

The headlights on the 03+ curve out further. Its not hard to put it on, there are some modifications that need to be made to the header panel and the alignment tabs on the bumper before it can be pushed back completely onto the car.
To do the full swap you need the bumper, fog lights, and fog light brackets. Some people (like me) choose to get the chrome trim that goes around the edge of the lower grille. It's hard to see but its there. And if you live in a state that requires a front license plate to be on the car you would be smart to build a bracket that attaches to the metal bumper reinforcement, or you could just get the factory plastic bracket that screws into the bumper cover.

The gap between the headlights and bumper on your car isn't as much as the picture on my website. So, really that is almost no gap.
It wasn't hard to get rid of either. I'm kind of surprised no one else has managed to figure that out. :p

Nice, what about the rear bumper? Still chromin?
Yup. The front bumper will be chromin again before too long.

Mine doesnt have any gap at all.My body shop did a very good work applying some fiberglass to fill out the gap.

Yeah, Lincoln. All O.E.M. parts. You can get the whole kit from LSKoncepts for like $600 + shipping. I just happened to be able to get a better deal at my local dealership. The only thing I couldn't get at the dealer, for some odd reason, was the fog light wiring harness pigtails. So I had to order them on Ebay, but I got them probably cheaper that way even with shipping included.

I just noticed my headlights look really bad in these pics... I might have to fix those up soon.

I wouldn't worry too much about the difference in paint on the bumper being that it is fiberglass and it is surrounded by metal i.e. fenders and hood.

Looks nice. I noticed that the "funnels" around the foglights are painted black. Would love to know how you did that.

FYI, I added some 1/8th inch chrome trim to the horizontal bars in my lower air intake. See the picture in my sig. I think it sets off the front end. Something you may want to consider if you are adding chrome.
