Now here is another thought what should be done with the hood? Would it look better with the ghost flames or with some sort of stripe?

Gawd no. Stripes=ghey! ESPECIALLY on a Mark. IMO.

What would you suggest I had thought about making the nose of the car the darker shade like with the flames and then making the transition to the body color after the flame comes out of the nose kinda like the whole front bumper and grill area is on fire but very subtly.
