Okay gentlemen. I have a photo project for school and for this one, I am doing the LS as the main subject, just washed her all up! I plan on doing a burnout in a dead empty parking lot in the nighttime with the smoke in the air and try to make it look as fast as possible! Any tips how I should get this "perfect burnout" also any other photo suggestions? I have a remote shutter so hopefully that will do the trick.
Oh and of course I'll post the pics tonight or tomorrow once they're all edited!! :)

LOL sorry, forgot it was winter LOL, Well hey a mid drift shot would be cool if you could pull that off some how.
 
I'll play around and try out the drifts as well!! And ghost, ssshhhh don't tell people it's a secret ;)
 
Yes, I'll have those two babes posing on my hood doing a burnout. Should I get racing stripes and a spoiler higher than the roof before the shoot too?
 
if you want a lot of smoke, spray bleach on the pavement where you're doing the burnout...

This. Old trick. Can also spray the tires down with bleach to get a decent amount of smoke too.

honestly ive seen a ton of burnout shots. even done a few. best ones that i personally like are at the drag strip down low. you want to try to capture the smoke going up not at eye level. or you can try something like this. darrek.jpg

You'll not want any wind and you will want higher humidity. Foggy feeling will give the best effects for night. Personally I'd try to do some basic shots with the lights and lighting before trying anything in action.
