phantom gauges

I like the gauges from the lexus 400 class but not sure what year it was. so i wanted to know if anyone out there makes this type of gauges for the mark 8 i think it would be real sweet and i'm not talking about the white swiss cheesy gauges.

I know what you mean, the same gauges are on 98-03 Cadillac Sevilles.

Unless you swap one of those clusters, I doubt you can do it without some serious customization.

I don't have any pics, I'm at work But I will explain The Instrument Cluster Has a "3D" Look To It, I think it has a Tinted Glass in front of the Cluster. When the car is "OFF" The Background Is Completly Dark or off as well. When The Key Is ACC or "ON" Position Only The NUMBERS and The NEEDLE will LIGHT UP It Looks Like As If It Was FLOATING and by the way i have a 96 mark, I saw this in a 94 lexus LS 400

95+ if it works I would have it but I think it would be alot of work. They sit farther in and I think you might need a thicker dash pad

i could be dead wrong ,but i think i remember reading back when the 95 conti came out that the needles where actually a projected beam of light onto the guage face???

i remember some car having that anyway...???

the conti gauges rock!!!!
the way they work is the cluster is just black with real needles, its all the numbers that are projected (more like reflected)
in vid in napoleon1072's post you can see the actual numbers over the cluster and they shine down on the cluster face giving that floating gauges effect, you can even block them with your hand lol
