has anyone upgraded their valve springs? i know of a LS owner with double gold valve springs and im wondering if anyone else has upgraded and can you feel an improvement

Realistically, unless you're encountering valve float, you really aren't going to see any improvement on stock cams. If you do see any improvement it's probably because the stock springs have started to go.

adding stiffer springs when not needed will cost you HP. as Hauen stated you only need stiffer spring to stop valve float normally at a higher RPM than stock. stiffer springs also add resistance and resistance takes HP away.

pretty sure he doesnt have them anyway. im sure he has stock ford ones he just wants to sound cool
