On a 1997 Mark VIII base, what size is the hose that comes off the PCV Valve to the intake ?
5/8" ?

Any of the rubber hose for the PCV is 3/8s.
Someone (HAS to be ONLYTONY) posted part numbers for some hoses with the bend, I need to get those, because as you can see, regular emission hose will bend enough, but it puts a lot of pressure on that emissions tee. That emissions tee is a weak link, I bought a new one but had a friend that needed it for his 95 Thunderbird.
I am not sure that regular vacuum line will stand up in this use. Mine had vacuum line and it was rotted out.
3/8 line from both intake ports to 3/8 hose barbs to the emission tee

poor emissions tee being flexed to the point of failure (and it doesn't need flexed to fail)

The hose from the T to intake I just went to the autoparts store and picked up a foot of 3/8". I forget what specific kind it was but it's black and bendable with enough length so that it doesn't end up looking like Bangsters

I tried a little longer and it was a little better, but it wasn't as good as the molded hoses that were there. But once I shortened them I couldn't add back to them.
I also tried 3/8 barb 90 degree connectors and will likely go back to those, but that is 4 more connections to fail. I don't know that emissions hose is needed in this case, but do know that regular rubber was nasty.

The Fordparts.com website states the Motorcraft PCV Valve hoses are made of EPDM.

What about using fuel hose ?
One way to prevent the tee from bending is to use a longer hose but loop it so that it's not putting tension on the tee.

That should be fine as long as it's a bendable. Some are a lot firmer than others.

I used the Gates 27004 hose ($1.04 for one foot from NAPA) and the Gates 28632 tee ($3.59 from Oreilly Auto).
The hose is rigid enough to bend like the original elbow hose without kinking.
It even looks OEM.
