Well since they dont make the Mark VIII anymore, I was wonder how many of you guys mod your LS for performance. I know alot of you have exhaust and cold are intakes, But what about gears do any of you guys have 3.73s or 4.10s. I know there aint a big after market for you guys yet. But has anyone ran a 13 second quarter mile N/A. :Beer

not one of you guys have really modded your LS

It's not a car and engine that has an aftermarket following like the 4.6. It's also not an 8.8 rear end...tranny is completely different, etc etc. Then to top it off, it uses an electronic control system that is so much more sophisticated than anything ever put on a Mark. Lot of obstacles to overcome and little aftermarket support.

not yet - but we are getting there..... 13.9350 @ 109.04 is my best so far.

The LS is much better at the twisties - and I do fairly well auto-crossing - the car is still better than me.

I have done some to suspension, brakes, and a lot of bolt-ons.

Right Quik. There are very few sedans in the world that will compete with the LS in the twisties. And having owned a few Mark's in my life, I can definitively say that although the Mark will run away and hide from it on the open road, it can't touch it in the turns and transitions. Not even close.

with a spring conversion and bigger sway bars the lincoln does good, look up the super coupe see how good that thing handled it did very well
