Passenger side window problem

Hello all, I'm a newbee here and have a 05 Lincoln LS 3.0 V6. I love the car but I'm having a problem with my passenger window when I let it up. This is the problem, when I let the window down with the button on the drivers side door and on the passenger side door the window will roll down fine but when I go to roll it back up, it goes up but then comes back down half way. My car has the auto up/down feature. I've tried the reprogram thing where you roll the window down, then go back up and hold the button for 5 seconds, but this hasn't helped. I'm not sure if I'm needing a new motor for the window button and if so do I need one for the passenger side or drivers side since it does this problem using either button. Please let me know if anyone has a solution for me, thanks

It would be the passenger side motor that you need. The auto function is built into the motor, not the switches. However, I think that it is more likely that you need to lubricate your regulator and glass guides or even more likely that you need to replace your regulator.
