Hey everyone! So lately, my passenger side door is doing weird things. I'll hit unlock on the fob twice to unlock both doors, and the pass side lock indicator pops up, then when someone pulls on the handle to open the door, it relocks itself. I'll unlock it again, they go to pull the handle to open it, it relocks. The only way to open it is from the inside handle. Now that I think about it, it started after I unlocked that door with my key. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but that would be a pretty cool feature to have if I was always the only one in the car. Any ideas?

Prob a part of the autolock system. It has a option in the messege display for on/off. If on, when the car is on and you try to lock the doors while the drivers side door is open, it'll then unlock both doors right away..Not really ur prob though..Just mess with the a/l option and jiggle the key in the pass door to see if you find anything.

I ended up playing around with the key in the pass lock cylinder, and if you turn it to the left nothing happens, but to the right, it'll activate the power unlock. Even after doing the unlock with the key in the door it will relock. As of right now, it isn't doing it, but it comes and goes. Maybe my car is starting to realize that its new owner lives in the ghetto and its trying to protect me? Unlikely....

So today, for example, I went out to my car this morning, unlocked it with the fob. My mom went to get into the passenger side of the car, pulled the handle, it relocked. I had to open it for her from the inside handle. We went to Wal-Mart, came out, unlocked it with the fob, goes to get in, everything is fine. What makes it even more weird, is that its completely random.

It's because it's a Mark.. And you need to change your FOB battery :-)
