Sorry for all the post but I am really new to this platform and trying to figure out if their is any upgrade parts that are found on newer marks/Continental/cougar/thunderchicken platforms? The local pick a part has a few cougar/tbirds and I seen atleast 3 95+ continentals and Before I go in, I want to know of any tips! Thanks in advance!

3 continentals were are you, I couldn't see 3 continentals in a week
it just seemed that it was a car that didn't sell .
I've been looking for a black/black one for some time.

Contis aren't going to get you anything... and the Mark pretty much has the best parts from the MN12 cars, I can't think of anything you could pull that would be an upgrade (except maybe a 3L27 rear, though it would be in an iron housing and the trac loc would probably be due for a rebuild anyway.)

the yard i bring all my mark VIII shells to when im done has 3 late 90's conti's too all side by side and then 2 marks, i actually took the drivers door handle out of one of the conti's for my 93 mark.

Yes a conti door handle will work, i believe the handle part is chrome though.

Nice mustang BTW.

A conti door handle will work in a Mark?

Yup. They fit just fine. Plus, they're a heck of a lot sturdier than the Mark VIII handles.

I meant like drivetrain related like the driveshafts for a once piece unit or different gears in the tbirds or whatever lil carry over mods. Although the chrome door handle is a pretty mod haha! Thanks for the info so far and comments on the fox! That is my toy this mark is a fun daily driver! haha

One piece is the 93 Mark, any gear for a ford 8.8 will work if you want a gear swap, or you can get the "pumpkin" from a 99 Cobra, alot of engine parts from a 96-98 Cobra will work, also certain parts from 99-04 cobra will work... hope that helps
