so on Saturday (while I was working) someone ended up backing up or hitting my back bumper pretty bad. My choices are to either repaint/bondo the bumper/cracks OR I can get a replacement either new or from a salvage yard. So here's what I'm asking. Does anybody know of any Birch Silver Gen 1 bumpers around them (Sport or non sport is fine, sport preferred), I'm willing to pay for it but since this is an issue I wasn't expecting or intending on, I'm not trying to throw much money out there. If anyone knows approx what a bumper from a salvage yard costs that could help determine how much I'm offering for one. I'd appreciate any help as this pisses me off since car shows are coming up in feb and I still need another pair of headlights/front bumper to do my project.

he doesn't seem to speak very much english. Plus I try emailing him and his all "call me bout parts" then I call and it's some asian dialect that I can't understand nor hear
 
I put up an ad just now on craigslist so we'll see what responses I might get. I dunno of any salvage yards that have an LS, I'm gonna have to start looking before winter comes. But if I do find one I gotta find out how to remove the bumper and what tool (size) is needed to do the job

I do it all the time, I got an absolute steal on a brand new SCT Livewire doing it. Sometimes you'll run into problems because they don't want to ship but most of the time they're willing to work with you once they see you're legit.
 
damn bummer man. i had somebody hit my car in my works parking lot as well last summer, knocked out the passenger light on the bumper and scratched a little bit but that buffed out and all was good. i was also gonna sugest car-parts.com like the guy above me.

lol nice, ill go out tmw and take a look for ya here man no promises thou, people tend to prefer bmw and audi here.
 
Is there a way to just look for something on craiglist and sort it by closest. Instead of searching by city search by state or womthing instead of having to go back and selecting city after city
 
second one was almost a winner til I saw the dent. :P what's with that sticker too?

ya pretty much crap. I had a modeling shoot lined up for my LS as well on the 10th but since this happened I gotta put it to next month (January). Good thing that could happen is that I'm also looking for another pair of headlights/front bumper so I might end up finding those as well :P
 
First one has been sold already. I've emailed the guy before

Well not exactly but yeah. There's a site you can use that will let you divide it by state and or region.
 
i went to car-parts.com and submitted the part I needed, we'll see what results I get. Thankfully the damage can only really be seen from close up.

I gotta get a PDF installed cause I can't see LSK's bumper removal guide
 
no, caus it was while I was at work, silly! At the parking lot is oten full of retards and bad drivers
 
thought it was safe. It's like wearing a condom and coming out of sex with an STD, like "how could this happen!, I thought I was safe! lol
