Im going to be painting my side skirts soon. Anyone does this themselves. Im going to just do typical prep work but start with heavier sanding and also use some sandable primer and then follow through with the regular painting steps and compounds, ect. Any pictures or tips for me would be appreciated.

Dont paint them w/o Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, or the paint will just flake off. That lower molding is plastic which is made from oil and oil and paint dont stick together well w/o a lot of prep work

You also might want to look into clear protective bras to prevent rock chipping etc.

those things really work that well? I have no experience with them, but I'm getting ready to redo my entire paint job to include those plastic skirts
