Paint Opinion.

I like the scheme, but I would like to see it with a darker red. I have not seen the red in person, but my opinion is based on the drawing. I like the look of dark and light or light and light. Medium colors and dark or light colors dont go together as well. Just my opinion.

I like shiney paint too. Does this vinyl shine or is it like primer?

A smooth waxed surface is easy to keep clean.

decibels5, I think you are right. We are going with a Red Candy that has a Light Silver base. I decided to go with a little darker silver as the base. So it should darken it up a bit. I really like Scorpio1118 2000 Idea. I think I might go with that as well.

The first thought was, a mat finish like on the new Chargers. But, I'm starting to lean towards the idea of ghosting the strips. I bought DuPont products so, I hope its going to have a real nice shine to the paint. It should.

The one thing I don't like is that jagged line separating the colors.. Seems like it should be a solid line. Other than that I like the idea.

I was considering something similar on my gen 1, except my current color is green... nothing goes with green except maybe silver/gray. It's either that or sell it and buy a gen 2.

Yea, I'm not sure about it ether. That's one reason I'm going with vinyl. It will allow me to change it if I want to. Actually the Mark tears down real well and you can do a complete color change. Jams and all, or I think the right silver may look good. I'm partial to the Gen. 1's. If it's in good shape, I would keep it. That's just my opinion. Doesn't mean much but, there it is.
