Has anybody else done this? Thought about it? Hope these guys don't mind I used pics of their cars. Just wanted to see how this would look.
In my experience, plastic of just about any type requires a good amount of prep in order to be painted properly.It looks good, but that's very pricey, the plastic, due to the type used requires a lot of prep to get the base coat to adhere.
I was kinda hoping someone with better photoshop capabilities might chime in with a better picture here.![]()
I think ill have this done on my bumper when it gets painted anyway. I kinda like the way it matches with the headlights.
Ill just have to find a newer grille with the full chrome surround. Not the LSE grille, I think that's just too much chrome for a silver car.

That plastic has some sort of oil in it or something which requires more prep than normal. But anyway, it's all irrelevant
