Hello people.

I know of you have the pac controller install with your aftermarket stereos, so I want to know if any of you remember the wiring?? What wire do I connect from the car?

I bought that damn Pac thing ones few years ago and tried to put it in but didn't find the right wire, got mad and returned it. I thinking of buying one again.

Some help please.

i'm was about to buy one myself but i don't exactly where i have to tap into and i would hate to mess something up for just audio controls when i have a remote anyway. still, i was going to buy one because it was like 10 bucks on ebay. hopefully someone knows and maybe i'll get up the nerve to buy and install

it says it's not available for Pioneer, don't you have a Pioneer in your car?

Thank you guys, I guess I'll buy one later to give it a try one more time. The problem is that I cut out all of the factory harnesses.

i tried to install it and eventually gave up. Still dont have it but it doesnt bug me that much... I tried tapping into almost everywire with no luck.

Its a Pioneer D3

+1.

Although mine has been flaky since the install. I've reprogrammed it twice and same. Mute and Media buttons work 100% of the time, every time. The volume and preset buttons respond maybe 10% of the time. All connections are firm and snug, the steering wheel butons worked perfectly fine with the stock head unit. Thinking I may have a faulty Pac1..

Not to get off topic but I have the PAC device for my steering wheel controls, and when I push the volume up on the steering wheel, there is a 1+ second delay and then the volume gets extremely loud. Does anyone else experience this when using a PAC SWI-X? It is extremely annoying!

My headunit is a kenwood ddx-6019 by the way
