I pulled 3 codes last night. I know how to fix 2 of them but the 3rd is P1460. Which is P1460 WOT A/C Cutout Internal Driver Malfunction. I have heat and the air is luke warm at best, from both vents. It's just 1 more thing to add to my list of things to be fixed now. I'm already getting new O2 sensors and all the parts to replace the front suspension and ABS sensors. Anyways I'll take all suggestions into consideration

It doesn't sound like it is and it shows it's getting power on a volt meter. Guess it's the compressor.

I don't see a bad compressor tripping that code. Are you sure the clutch has power when connected? (both ground and + battery)

I would check the clutch fuse and the clutch relay.

I checked all the fuses and relays, they appeared fine. I'll check for power again on my next day off. I had it at the dealer for an oil change the other day, but they 'forgot' to hook it up to the diagnostic machine like I asked. I don't think the new service writer likes me much.

I wouldn't worry a whole bunch about that, if he gives you any lip you just
remind him who and the end of the day is contributing to his weekly earnings.

From time to time I call my local dealership to compare prices and get P/N's, once a dude told me
it was a bad time for me to call with it being lunch and all, so I asked him if he would prefer to put
his manager on the phone with me so he could go take his lunch. then the back-pedaling started.

If the clutch isn't engaging it could very well be the field coil. I've had that fail in the past. A new "field" later and all was well.

I always go in knowing what I want and a rough idea what's wrong. The parts manager and other parts worker know me and how I am, so we're good still. I'm a familiar face in there owning an LS, and usually get a discount and stay and talk for a bit.

what's a field coil?

Update:

I took the LS to the shop the other day to have them hook it up to the computer so I could fix the P1460 code. Well it turns out the problem was with the wiring on the passenger side that the dealership 'fixed'. I suspected it might've been the fault of the dealer because the AC didn't work, my ABS and traction control lights were on as well, when I picked it up after they fixed the fog lights a year ago. I've had the dealer check their work twice since then and they said everything was fine the issues is somewhere else. So, I got tired of fighting and took it to an independent shop I trust that works on the LS. He confirmed it was the wiring job the dealer did and had to redo some of it. I will be taking the bill to the dealer to prove that was the issue and seek reimbursement.
