Damn CEL is back.

Had this issue after throwing a cone filter on the car about 26,000 miles ago (on the old engine)

never quite got it to go away.

New motor went in, and I didnt have a code till now. [19,000 miles into the the new engine]

Im thinking this is because of the misfire... but I have not thrown any codes for bad coils yet.

I occasionally get a miss at part throttle.

car is a 2000 V6 Sport

sounds like that would be the 02 sensor....driver's side

Did you replace the cone filter with the stock airbox as a test?

Yes...

But then I threw the filter back on and didnt throw a code for ~19,000 miles.
