jeez, 'silly people' comments from the twins aside, is there a way to remove the code? I did watch him remove the panel by the driver's feet, undo and pull down the ECM and remove a small circuit board looking deal-so, gosh, I guess it is possible. He wanted an extra $150 for it, I didn't care, it is plenty fast enough for me, for now.
my scanner, which reads PIDS and also is CAN, OBD1 and OBD2 capable, cannot erase this code,-it is a powertrain code, I would think that it's probably something that is going to be an issue. Anyone (beside the post-whore twins) have any ideas about what a going ballpark price might be for a used ECM, or has anyone had their ECM re-flashed by a dealer? thank you.
