P0406 EGR Flow Sensor code- Need help

I recently received a CEL and the code indicated 02 sensor problems (car is 2003 ls V8 with 98,000 miles on it). After changing all 4 02 sensors, my CEL came back on after 250 miles. Read the code and it reads P0406 EGR Flow Sensor- A current high input. I know that there are several things to the EGR that can cause problems (valve, gasket, tubing, etc) My question is this, can someone tell me where the EGR is on an 03 V8, and any suggestions as where to start regarding a fix? SHould I clean it first, change it, etc.

EGR is on the intake, with a metal pipe connecting it to the exhaust, has some vacuum lines and EVP sensor as part of the assembly. I recently purchased one, it came with the new gasket and all.

it will have a molded vacuum line connector with two plastic vacuum lines coming from it, two bolts (10mm on the few I've seen) that mount it to the intake, and one large metal tube (screws onto it) coming from the exhaust (gets hot fast so do it while the motor is cold). Most times the tube can be removed with a crecent wrench or channel locks.

Honestly, buy the part so you know what to look for, raise the hood, remove the appearance cover, and it should all become clear. It's truely that simple.

I would also not waste time doing it because the EGR valve itself allows hot exhaust gasses into the intake which is fine at higher RPMs (is how it's supposed to work), but can lead to fouling spark plugs, clogging the cats, fouling o2 sensors, all sorts of other things you don't want happening.

If you have a set of metric wrenches/sockets and a big pair of plyers of some sort, it will take (even a novice) less time to do it than it took to compose this message.
