Well after looking at the search I cant seem to find anything that nails down what would cause this code. I was reading it was a MAP sensor but I can not find any MAP sensor on any parts list from anybody. Since Im new to the LS world any help would be my welcomed before I start just throwing parts at this problem.

I would pull out the MAF to check for any stuck particles, and verify that the whole intake is nice and tight to eliminate any air leaks.

The MAP sensor is built into the EGR valve assembly. First verify that the vacuum line connections to the EGR assembly are good.

Just got home and once the car cools I will check both. Had MAF problems with my Mark and did the cleaning thing and all was good. I will check the hoses... Its AZ you know and anything plastic or rubber tends to dry and crack quickly.

Can we say... This is the problem! I think. hahaha

It may or may not be the problem, but it certainly is a problem. That's the manifold vacuum connection to the fuel pressure sensor.
Certainly, reconnect it and see what happens.

Those become very brittle. I tried removing mine once and it broke in 4 places.
Part # 3W4Z9E498BA

I had a couple of those hard lines break on my '06; it threw an EGR code, IIRC. I replaced all the hard lines with rubber vacuum hose from Napa. I "removed" the hard lines from the connectors and inserted the rubber line. I also needed some "T"s and straight connectors.

I wonder if that could be the source of the whistling I've been hearing under throttle. Car almost sounds S/C'd at times.

So I fixed that line... It shared the same vacuum source as the MAP so Im thinking thats why the MAP code was thrown. But in the process of fixing that one the other two broke. So I replaced them all with rubber lines, cleared the codes and have not seen it come back yet after about 20 miles of driving.

Also... I did not know they had K&N intakes for this car. How cool

Yup. I have one installed in my '06 and one, still in the box, sitting in the garage. Apparently K&N isn't "bothering" to get a CARB certification so I probably won't install it in my wife's '06....

Well I live in the Wild Wild West of Arizona so I dont really care about CARB. lol
