I replaced all 3 pieces of the thermostat housing a couple weeks ago but my car still overheating so now I'm starting to thinks it's the degas bottle but I guess the overheating damaged this piece and broke off the two prongs that hold the thermostat in place I figured the piece was "cheap" so on monday I will be heading to ford and try to Get another one and hopefully this time a good quality one that will last

And does the new part come with the thermostat already because while I was taking this apart I heard something drop but I can't find what dropped but I think all the pieces here

After I replaced the thermostat housing I did put the gold antifreeze that this car calls for but after that it overheated again and I didn't have no money so put WATER in it did I damage the car by doing this

What do you mean do you think its funny that I don't know how to work on cars?? Or understand how they work

But my fan does work though I do know that because I can hear it

That's no way to know that it is working correctly. Have you not read even any recent threads on this?

Also, did you fill and bleed the cooling system correctly?
Did you replace the other plastic cooling system parts?
Are you and your car so different that you can ignore the experiences of nearly everyone else with this problem?

I can feel the air coming from it when I open the hood and when the car was sitting in idle I saw the temperature gauge go down back to normal and no I didn't read much about it and no I didn't fill and bleed it correctly and yes I replaced the rest of the parts except for the degas bottle and the plastic hoses

1. Feeling the air does not prove that the fan is working correctly. Please read the steps to see if it is working correctly (going to the correct speeds.)
2. The temperature gauge is highly buffered. Even when it's in the middle, the engine can be overheating.
3. You need to replace those plastic parts too.
4. Since you are making no effort to find it, here are the correct instructions for filling and bleeding. It will keep overheating until you follow them to the letter.

If you don't want to help yourself, why should I...
