Whats is holing it down now? Factory adhesive ? I have never taken it off so Im wondering myself how it came from the dealer. Mine kinda has a slight upward slant to it when I view it in my side mirror, but when I get out it looks fine. weird, but I want to adjust it too.

One has gotta take it off when you go inside the door, so maybe the previous owner had an acuator/ regulator problem...

Those clips break easy i hear. maybe that's the problem? going along with eastcoast's suggestion, someone may have damaged the clips when removing it.

that molding on mine isnt coming up, but the rubber gasket part is breaking down. I tried to clean it up with an armorall type stuff, no dice. So I'm thinking I'm going to have to rip em out and replace them eventually. Thinking about tinting the chrome parts of the molding anyway. Let me know what you find out! oh and you need to be in bristol RI the 6th of april! Quick drive from fall river guy!

My window molding/trim is doing the same thing. One day my dad managed to snap it back to perfect, but the other side is still off line.

hmm, exactly where its up i see the clip, maybe i should bend it in a little bit so it can stay in its hole ..

Thats what i did with my ebrake leather cover, ever time i pulled the thing up, the leather strap came with it, i bent the inside where the clip is, and its brand new, no problem, so the clip is still there, i might just have to lift that up a little bit more, bend the clip a little bit and snap it in the hole.
