OTC 9450 - clear code 13?

I have a code 13 - was in an accident, the seta belt pretensioner went off, but no the airbags. code 13 - memory full....I want to clear this and research indicates the OTC 9450 will read the codes, and will Read display erase ABS codes and definitions for most domestic vehicles 1996 - 2008

Will this realtively inexpensive tool erase the memory and get rid of the airbag ligh and code? This vs sendiong to airbags.com and spending $49 plus shipping both ways (about the cost of the scanner! )

You can't clear that code. Airbags.com will have to change a chip in the module. The seatbelt will have to be replaced too.

seatbelt has already been swapped - now, just need to get to the RCM.....
