I have a 91 Lincoln Mark VII and the other day  I was told that my fan connecting to the fan clutch is cracked, and a part could not be found, as of yet anyway. How likely or unlikely is it that I can find another one? Do I put in an electric fan instead and are those reliable? what brand and such do I look for?

You shouldn't have to much trouble finding the necessary stuff at the scrapyard or just look online (kijiji, craigslist) for anyone parting out a mark. I wouldn't call that a high demand part(s). Should be easy enough to get your hands on.

i would go with an electric fan, you can get adjustable ones that come in a kit for about 190 is where they start at
