soon i'll have around $1800 to spend, i've been debating on what to do with it, i'm thinking either a sound system which i've priced out to be around 700 before install and a 2nd gen lse bumper, what is is your opinion on what i should do or is it possible i might be able to do both

If I were you id paypal $1800 to soopa009@yahoo.com
Go with a system, and for a double din get a pioneer avic z3, the built in HD is the sex. No need for cd's anymore. and a maybe a drop? I like but dont like the gen 2 lse bumper.. Stick with the gen 1 till the end!

If the system you are planning on installing only cost $700, then yes you can do both. That leaves you $1100 dollars and you will have a little left over if you do the conversion. Depends on how much someone charges you to paint the bumper.

i already have an aftermarket headunit, so i'm probably only getting a new one if that breaks, i already ordered new speakers that will be here monday, and the subs and amp will cost like 500 or so, i also have like another 700 in a savings account at work so i could still do the tune also, and i already have the springs for a drop, just need the new shocks before i install them

CAI, exhaust, then a dyno tune, then some shocks. It should still be under 1800

Something different

Take your $1800 and sign up for a higher education course. Maybe in custom car building or engine building, expand your mind.

Nope. Only thing I did was cut off the exhaust right behind the resonators. Then welded on 2.25" pipe on the back of the resonators, and installed magnaflow mufflers. The whole shebang was about $300.

Seriously though, I would get something like a DC Audio Level 4 12" d2 sub, build your own box, find a used amp on caraudio or something that can put out about 1000wrms @ 1 ohm. 4 guage wiring for the big 3 upgrade, upgraded alt. if you can. Then fatmat, then a layer of luxury liner pro.

What do you have for component speakers?

Then, lower the car. Makes such a big difference in look.

Are you just going for sound? Or do you want go fast mods?

ok so you just replaced the straight pipe with 2.25 up to the first bend?

i have polk db571's most likely going in this week, as for subs, i had 2 12" memphis subs and it was too loud, so i'm looking for something like 2 10s or maybe just 1 12.

as for the drop, i have the eibachs already, and i ordered new shocks yesterday and should be here in a week

what do you mean fast mods?

go fast mods are performance mods, like a torque converter and a tune. Maybe an LSD install to catch traction with both rear wheels. I don't think your money is going to go far enough for gears.

You going to amp the components?

Your subs were too loud? Did you have 2 mojo's or something?

well i have 1800 plus like around 500 something in a savings account at work, so i was thinking sound system, maybe an lse bumper (might not want to spend that much, tune, and exhaust now that i've heard yours lol

I dont really want to get into to stuff like torque convertors and all that

oh and by too loud i meant too loud for my taste
