So. . . . I've decided (since my converters are now filled with chunks of broken ceramic) to upgrade the exhaust system on my tired old '93 TC. My plan is to fit up the stock exhaust manifolds and H-Pipe from a 96-04 Mustang. So. . . here's the issue. I was sure everything would fit until I remembered that darned EGR tube (why can't these cars be more like the 5.0's. .. .).
Does anyone know if the old, or in my case new, EGR tube bolts to the Mustang H-Pipe or am I going to have to use the intake manifold from a Mustang and its respective EGR tube? Better yet. . . the EGR system on this car has been a real pain in the . . . . .. If I disable the system, say, by unplugging the EGR solenoid and DPFE and placing resistors in their place, will I have issues with overheating? Has anyone else attempted this type of task?
