I pull in the girl friends drive way throw it in park the engine soars up to 2000 rpm took it out of park put it back in park did the same thing, backed it out of the driveway put it in park 1500 rpm. Turned it off started it back up now it idels fine

the weird thing when i was parked on the driveway, at a real steep angle, is when the rpm was really high. when i put in park on the street the idle rpm dropped 500 rpm

What year is your Mark? IIRC it's a Gen1, have fun changing the IAC :gr_devil:.
While you're at it, and for what it costs - do the TPS as well.

Sorry Toph, thought your's was a 94 for some reason.

Have at it then, heard Gen2's are easy to switch out. Did my 94, royal pain in the nuts, I'll scrap the darn thing if it acts up again.
