Here there and everywhere
I have searched, and turned up some good information on what I need to know.

But one thing isn't clear, how far do you need to drop the k-member to get the oil pan off and change the gasket? That and cut off the one cat. If I'm dropping it I'm only doing it once so might as well do the exhaust up front. And the oil filter adapter gasket I guess, I do not think it's leaking but who knows!

This would be on a lift I'm hoping got to see if I can get one of the three open for a few days! They don't like their classic mustangs siting outside, for to long.

If you are on a hoist, I would just drop the k member all the way down. On a hoist there is one member here other than me....(that I KNOW of) that can have his oil pan in hand in under an hour after starting. With decent know how, a couple hours labor will get the k member down and pan off.

The exaust is another matter. The drivers side cat is welded to the manifold. You are MUCH better off buying 03cobra manifolds and swapping them out.
