oil leak

anyone ever blow a front main seal i got oil on the front of my motor and im not sure from where. its getting on the belt and if i was dumb i would think it was coming out of my alternator because theres oil on it. i can tell its not a valve cover leak and nothing has been taken apart recently.

It might be the gasket where the oil filter bolts up to. What you do is take the car to the car wash, and clean the livin hell out of the front of the motor. Clean it the best you can, check to make sure that all the oil is off of the front of the motor, and then drive the car around a bit. After a while the oil should show itself again and then you should be able to tell where it is coming from.

mechanic said it might be clogged pcv pressurizing the crankcase so imma check that and the adapter gasket thanx 4 the tips
