offset?

Im thinking of getting some new wheels this summer. i want a staggered set up with as much rear lip as possible. I was thinking a 10 inch wide wheel with a 40 mm offset in the rear.
anybody with better math chime in.

I am 100% positive the 05 and up Mustangs have the right offset. Pretty sure it is 40mm but I have been up since 6am and just had a saftey meeting for about the last hour so I may be wrong. I know you need whatever offset the 05 and up stangs wheels are. Promise.

a 40 mm offset with 10 inch wide wheels will work in the rear.
