i havent done anything to the front of my car, but, the LS is a sport LUXURY car.

Be happy that other people are "hooding" out their LSs. It makes yours better. Well, except for the group that prefers pimpin'...
I saw an early 2000 era Mustang yesterday that had huge wheels (20's at least) and it looked horrible. The rims were pretty sweet by themselves but they were way too big for the car. But what do I care? it's not my money.

comments like these are getting so tiresome, and to start a new thread about it is such a waste of space in this type of environment. this is your opinion on what people are doing to THEIR car, not the opinion of the masses. i'm sure plenty agree with the fact that big rims take away from the safety and performance of this vehicle but that is THEIR choice (mine included). does it bother you that much that other people are spending THEIR money to fix up their ride according to their own wishes and are a reflection of their style as a person portraid through their way of dressing their car up? This forum is here to encourage individuallity amongst car enthusiasts. if you are stuck on this way of thinking please keep it to yourself or find a way to not sound so negative about a way someone decides to make THEIR car "hood".

Since when was this such a sleeper type car? Last I knew we never had any 'sleeper performance' support. Since when does a nice car define looking like it comes from the hood?
Maybe if we had some fast sleeper parts besides exhausts and "a" intake kit option ( generation pending ) it would be the other way. Nah, I still like leaving that to the cars that are supposed to be fast. Ill leave the looking nice to the car that is meant for luxury!
If this is his way of thinking he should get another car or just keep day dreaming.

Its actually more of an embarrassment when people try and make their LS fast. That is unless they are actually putting in a lot of work (t.c/s.c).
I dont think my car has ever been cald a hood car but on the same note am sure no one has ever thought its fast including me. The problem with people like this is that they have never had a real sports car or a fast car and then they get the ls which i do admit has a little go and they think they have a race car. You cant possibly think you have a sleeper when they only make a handfull of aftermarket parts for it. That could be the reason alot of us have HOODED are cars out. But i respect everyones opinions , but really there is only a couple of people on here that are actually making there cars fast. Well i gotta go now am going to check out my hood car its at the shop.

Some people would rather pimp than race.
You would apparently rather race your car than pimp it.
Others like VividLS, would rather pimp it than race it.
It doesn't make it an embarrassment unless YOU are embarrassed to drive it. In which case, you should get rid of it, rather than try to make other people feel bad for making their cars look "Hood".
This topic is flat out ignorant, there are an awful lot more people on this site with LS's that want their car pimp or "hood" than a sleeper. While I commend guys like quickls and guys that have the knowlegde to make the LS into horsepower monsters. These cars are luxury sedans. And honestly the way it sounds like your talking down to some people I am not a big fan of. I doubt you would say these things if you were standing in front of me and my car.

saw an 88 or so camaro z28 w/ 24's, I just pointed and laughed my ass off at them. They got so pissed I thought they were gonna turn around and try to do something, yea, a 13 second car being chased by a lifted 4x4 camaro hahahaha.
