There was a set on craigslist for 700, accoring to the shop new. Actually 2 sets of HID headlights. 2 members on here got them, I almost got them for that price. Just keep your eyes peeled, they are out there

I wanted to do the retrofit, and im sure I can do it. I am a little nervous though. I am on car part all the time and never see anything. I have a connect at my local junk yard so ill ask him to keep his eyes open.

Im mainly worried about the mounting and aiming part of the retrofit. Besides, I dont have 1600 bucks to drop so I suppose i will be doing a retrofit. Sooner or later anyway.

There are many retro-fitting companies you can hire to do the work for you. LightWurks will let you give them a price range you'd like to spend on materials and they will give you an estimate on labor. Then a professional will be installing and aligning the retro-fit.

Just a suggestion if your not confident enough, I'm sure it would be right around $700-$1000 with buying a second set of headlights. (If its your DD) That would be with FX-R projectors and very high quality if not OEM ballasts/bulbs. It sounds like a lot but lights are important and quality is an expensive price to pay.
