In my 89 Mark 7 Bill Blass my odometer reads error. I was wondering if their was a way to fix that and how could I do that. Or do I have to take it in? thanks for the help!

There's a white cube on the back of the gauge cluster that's known to go bad. If you can find a working one, just swap it in. Only problem is, your odometer (mileage) will read whatever the replacement white cube was at before it was pulled.

You can try pulling the instrument cluster and cleaning it, and be sure to clean the connection to the white box NYC LSC mentioned. That may or may not fix the issue, as the odometer very well might be dead.

Thanks. So I take off the dash and behind the speedometer i will find the instrument cluster? Another question, how do i check my voltage?

The little white box is screwed into the left side of the console in this picture.

The console contacts are in the lower right side.

My tool box is on the bottom :)
