Odd Sound Inside Car

'03 LS V8...can't say this happens consistantly, but, when I fire the car up, I often I hear a sound that I can only describe as a muted, low volume air raid siren (told you it was odd) that seems to come from the right side dashboard area. After a minute, it winds down and goes away. I've tried fiddling with the climate controls and audio but it doesn't seem to have any effect on this noise. As I said, it's a low volume sound and I hardly notice it unless the audio system is off. Anyone have a clue?

i know there's a known issue with txh nav (I have this 2) that when you hit like 20 or 30mph you get a real faint high pitched noise. that's the only thing I can think of.
