OBDII plug question about scangauge

The OBD plug on my 2005 LS doesn't look like a typical plug I've seen on other cars. Is there a special cable or adapter I need to run the scangageII?

Nope, plugs right in. I had one in my LS.

It is a standard OBDII receptacle on the Lincoln LS. As far as an adapter for that brand, Scandage II, I don't know, my SCT Xcalibrator 2 fits.

Ok, I see the plug now, kind of hidden to the right side of the footwell. My car has an additional plug mounted on the lower edge of the trim, facing forward. I wonder wth that is? Some kind of interface for the alarm or something?
