Where do you get the notion that "early voters tended to vote for Democrats"?
We do know that deceased voters tend to vote Democrat, as do fictional characters ("Micky Mouse" was registered in FL as a Dem, IIRC), non-citizens, etc.
If it is true that "early voters tended to vote for Democrats", are you sure they were legitimate votes and not illegitimate ones cast by organizations looking to undermine the democratic process through voter fraud (ACORN, Unions)?
The truth is that the Left has a huge problem with voter fraud and has a history of trying to disenfranchise military votes (2000 election) while making it easier for the lowest common denominator to vote (multiple times if possible) and is the ONLY party looking to actually avoid any checks on voting legitimacy against the preferences of the majority of the country (see Voter ID laws).
