So I'm out on a date last night with a new Flavor of the month in my Mark and it got pretty cold out. I havent used the heat in awhile just the A/C, and last night it dropped down to about 45 degrees so she asks me to please turn the heat on, so I did, turned it up to about 85 and nothing buy cold air is coming out! Needless to say I made up an excuse that these cars heaters only work between September and March...I think she bought it. Poor girl was freezing, gave her my coat and drove her home. I have to get this taken care of this before the next date!!! Is this the blend door problem that I have been hearing about???

*cough*heatedseats*cough*

:p

thank god mine has them...the ladies like the heated seats :D lol

but yeah, thats the blend door, put the temp up all the way........COLD air :(

I'm not worried about the blend door on my 98 going out. When it does, I'm going to go to Colorado, in a white van, (gotta be stereotypical, I guess), kidnap Mike, and bring him here to fix it. I'll even feed him and give him beer.

Wait a minute Frogman, considering all that you have done to your car you're worried about handling the task of fixing the blend door? :p Its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, just time consuming.

Oh, I'm sure it's not that bad. But it always helps to have someone who's been there done that help out.

absolutely! It takes me less and less time the more I do it. Unfortunately its one of those things that you don't do too often so you have to jog your memory for certain things.

Like remembering to have plenty of liquid bandage on hand..... :D

I keep a gallon of it on hand for when Dave is over... :)

I hope he never gets murdered, his DNA (blood) is all over the inside of my car... :D

"Sir,We have reason to believe the interior trim on your vehicle has been killing this man for many years now...."

That's only when applying the dyno mat! Although I have punctured my back several times when removing the seats and lying down to see behind the dash. I keep for getting about those stupid bolts standing straight up to mount the seats!

depends on how much I'm drinking...... :p

I've probably done it 4 times now, can get it done in about 4 hours.
