NYC/North Jersey Mechanics?

Hey North East crew,

Who do you know and trust to work on your cars? My 2000 LS V8 needs some engine and ignition love that I'd normally do myself but I'm completely swamped. Who in the area do you recommend? Prefer an independent shop and their more affordable rates, but a great dealer is fine too.

Thanks for the heads up DJ...right now car is hesitating a bit so don't know if she'd handle the Deegan and GWB for a trip out to North Jersey...I'll keep your boy in mind though...appreciate the response.
