Recently had the CEL list 3 codes. I fixed the P1518 and have been searching to fix the other two and it seems not many have smelled gas.
Anyway went to work with the light on - I didn't reset it as I was still working on the two other codes and went to drive home an no CEL!

First Christine fixed the LEDs in the mirror and now this! And yes I didn't smell gas. There is no way this can be caused by a sticking IMRC, so i will keep a watch on this. It was much colder today not half as warm as it has been last month, but do not see how that could stop the smell either.

The codes are still there. The CEL only comes up with its a pertinent issue. If enough cycles occur where the car does not detect the fault, it will clear the CEL but still keep the codes stored. I forget the condition list, but its like 10 starts or X number of miles, etc, etc.

If you were smelling gas, it would not be the IMRCs but something like a temperature sensor, O2 sensor, sticking injector, MAF issue, etc.
