now i have a F***ing "E" in dash gears. HELP URGENT:(

suddenly my car has a lot of issues. the other day my alternator got wet, then my xenon ballast stopped working and now i have a F***ing "E" in the dash, i know thats a transmission issue. the car now is very heavy like it gets stuck in 1rst gear and revs alot, if a shift to reverse or drive the gear enters but very rough.

and the worst thing is that i didnt move the car since sunday and in sunday (carshow day) it was running great, we were racing our cars in the street, a corvette greenwood, mustang 5.0, sentra spec v, malibu ss and mine, i was 2nd but now my car trans doesnt work. any solutions? or ideas or any opinion or something useful. what should i do before take it to the shop. HELP

the only thing that i did before it started with the transmission problem and "E" in dash was that i had my car lifted front with those plastic miniramps. it was like that for an hour.
i removed headlights and my ballast. when i was going to get the car down i shifted to reverse and the E showed and it felt rough and since then.

Is your LS a gen2? You might have a throttle body issue, I've heard that can cause the trans to do weird things.

no no 1rst gen... 2002 v6 automatic (not the autostick)

I can't really help you beyond that, I have a manual trans, I have different trans issues.

do not answer this thread anymore i think i have the answer, i think is just the transmission solenoid fuse. i've read all the manual. im 99.9% sure is the fuse. maybe i messed up while changing fog lights fuse.
im going to change it tomorrow and let you know if it works

IT WOOOOORKED.
stupid fuse.
but now my car runs great again. the only problem remaining is the foglights but i need to buy my ballast.

before doing anything try the fuses.
